Brazil covers around half of the South American continent and shares borders with French Guiana, Suriname, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, and Uruguay.

Brazil is the largest economy in Latin America and has abundant natural resources. The country is active in agricultural, mining, manufacturing and service sectors. Major exports include aircraft, electrical equipment, automobiles, ethanol, textiles, footwear, iron ore, steel, coffee, orange juice, soybeans and corned beef.

Powdery white sandy beaches line the coast which stretches for some 7000 km. and faces either the North or South Atlantic Ocean. There’s so much more to Brazil than football and carnival – from spectacular waterfalls, old colonial towns and red rock canyons to jungle trips along the Amazon.
