Bermuda
Situated 650 miles off the North Carolina coast. Made up of more than 150 islands. The mainland refers to those islands linked by bridge. English is the official language. The Bermuda dollar is the currency. Climate is semi tropical and summer temperatures last from May to November.
Hamilton is the capital. There are many Victorian buildings near the harbour. For many, pink coral sand beaches and blue-green water are the images of Bermuda. Water sports and golf are popular activities.

Cayman Islands
Situated 480 miles south of Miami. Made up of three islands: Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. English is the official language. The Cayman Islands dollar is the currency.
George Town, on Grand Cayman, is the capital and offers excellent restaurants and shopping. Seven Mile Beach is close to the capital.
Water sports are one of the islands’ most popular activities.
Rainfall is seasonal, usually May to November. Summers can be quite humid.

Barbados
The most easterly of the Caribbean islands. It covers 166 square miles. The Barbados dollar is the currency and English is the official language.
Day time temperatures are usually between 23°C and 30°C and the rainy season runs from July to November. There is a wide choice in water sports and nightlife. Cricket, of course, is a passion.
Bridgetown, set in a natural harbour, is the capital. Many spectacular beaches.

Jamaica
Situated 90 miles south of Cuba. The Jamaican dollar is the country’s currency and English is the official language. Daytime temperatures are usually between 23°C and 30°C although it will cooler if you go up into the mountains. May and October are the wettest months.
Kingston, in the south east of the island, is the capital. From hiking in the Blue Mountains, scuba diving amongst the coral reefs, sampling the nightlife, shopping or simply relaxing on those great beaches, you’ll find plenty to see and do on the island.
